why do i want to go?

i would enjoy attending a college or university because i would feel proud of myself for achieving such a high goal. It would be a plus if i make my father proud of me for getting into a big school and graduate in time. this would be a huge stepping stone for me because this would determine many things for my path. there is one thing i do question about college and it is, do i belong in college? i feel that college is not the place for me and i can make a living elsewhere faster and easier to my skills. but what contradicts my theory is it is much more secure and safer if i head into college and get a career that secures my financial state to support myself and family.
